About Our Riding Program

Welcome all new riders. We’re excited that you’re checking out The Authentic LLC riding program. Our training is tailored to each individual rider’s skill level. We offer private and group lessons for all ages. If you’re new to riding we have everything from lesson horses to equipment- in short, we have everything you need! All you’ll need to be be prepared for lessons are riding boots and a filled out liability form.

We’re excited to work with first time riders and well seasoned riders. All of our lessons are curated to help you discover your passion for riding and enhance each stride. As Jay says, “keep it simple with each stride.” He will help you explore the magic of horseback riding.

If you’re looking to compete, we do train for hose shows and are able to transport horses from our farm to other locations for showing. You’ll have the opportunity to ride along Jay’s fabulous instructions at the show. He’s focused on created confident and skilled riders with the ability of adaptability through the course.

Additional Lesson Information

We partner with several various local barns to meet our clients’ needs. Our lesson program and IEA Team’s home base is Red Horse Ridge in brownsboro, Al. The Authentic LLC partners with Marigold Farm for public and beginner lessons. Jay also coaches the Samford University Equestrian Team at Cameron Oaks.
